Formerly the Eisstadion was called ,,Bunker” but these days people just say ,,Puckingham Palace´´ . Because after its renovation in 2016 there is hardly anything that reminds you of old times. On the contrary: cabins, stands and the VIP-area for up to 420 people are entirely new. Apropos stands – it now allows for a sweeping 360 degree experience. Wherever the 4.126 fans sit, the view is perfect from anywhere.
Thanks to the lighting set, six-stepped adjustable with 1.200 Lux. Here it escapes no-one when a goal of the ice hockey team Moser Medical Graz 99ers is scored. Or an ace from -who knows maybe Dominic Thiem- some day. In Merkur Ice Stadium tennis can be played when required.
Directly at the Highway exit Graz / Ost, leading you to Liebenauer Haupstrasse, which is the way to the statium.
