Piano concert
In this fascinating romantic programme, which includes Frédéric Chopin’s 24 Preludes as well as works by Franz Liszt, Franz Schubert and the Bulgarian composer Dimitar Nenov, pianist Veneta Neynska explores the deep connections between music and life, in which fate always holds new challenges in store. Frédéric Chopin’s masterful 24 Preludes are inspired by J.S. Bach’s Well-Tempered Clavier, in which all 24 keys are also represented. Each piece by Chopin was composed in a different key, reflecting the diversity of the tonal WAYS of music in the first half of the programme.
Music & Life
Music, however, like life with its temporal constraints, unpredictability and boundless emotional spectrum, goes beyond mere decisions. It deals with the basic themes of human existence such as love, joy, grief, death and meaning. Just as composers carefully plan their works, people also organise their lives carefully. But the future remains uncertain, as it is often determined by the detours we take.unft remains uncertain, as it is often determined by the detours we take. Veneta Neynska presents this inspiring and thought-provoking programme entitled “Paths and Detours”, which showcases her exceptional artistry on the piano – with subtle nuances of sound and impressive musical highlights.
