The first S from STS
Well, Gert Steinbäcker, the first S from STS, is celebrating a milestone birthday in the coming year, but that doesn’t really matter, except that he might pause for a moment, look back and realize that he can be very happy to lead a relaxed life and hope that it will continue like this’. A typical Steinbaker answer. Concise and on point.
Then Gert says that his milestone birthday has nothing to do with the 2022 tour.
Or the other way around.
“Going on tour for weeks, we’ve done that long enough, that’s over now, but that doesn’t mean that I won’t be musically active any more,” said Steinbäcker, who again briefly explains what his fans will be doing in the future can expect from him: “Whatever you like, I will do it”. That means that after his last tour the man will be seen and heard on stage again and again. As I said, everything has its time.
Cheers to 2022 - the last tour
It is still too early to talk about the tour program today, but what can be expected is a cross-section of the singer-songwriter’s oeuvre. Hits and pearls that are worth getting out of the rich song box. A lot has happened in the past forty years …
The excellent band will once again be on stage, which already convinced three years ago on the “Alles Live” tour. Gert Steinbäcker will knock at Freund Schiffkowitz, the second S from STS, and ask if he will be there again. “That was and would be nice again,” says the first S and adds: “We can also look forward to one or the other surprise from our circle of friends and colleagues. But as I said, everything is still in the process of reflection.”
What is certain is that a new CD will appear. The big hits plus four new titles. The recording will be in December 2021 with Christian Kolonovits.
Everything has its time and exactly according to this schedule the fans of the singer-songwriter Gert Steinbäcker will now have to set the clock:
