As of April 2022, with Simon McBride on guitar, Ian Gillan, Roger Glover, Ian Paice and Don Airey are ready to take over the rock world live once again – along with rumors of work on a new album. As fans know, the line-up is now Mark IX in the long and successful band history. Deep Purple have always stayed true to their musical roots and have created an unmistakable sound from an eclectic mix of styles that defines the band today on the one hand and leaves a legacy on the other hand that very few acts can ever repeat. In over 50 years they have written and produced so many classics that their audience is very diverse in terms of age and background – a fact that the band always takes into account in their set lists.

There are hardly enough superlatives to adequately appreciate the contribution Deep Purple has made to rock music. The anticipation of two Rock Royalty dates in Austria is logically enormous:
