Party Your Hasselhoff
This year the king of easy listening pop is releasing his new album and will bring the big party back to Germany, Austria and Switzerland from March 2023: “Party Your Hasselhoff”! A live program with his cult hits and the new party songs!
“It’s supposed to be a big party, a tour where everyone can sing and dance. And I am convinced that now people are definitely ready for a big party again, they want to go out and party and have fun again. That is the key word: Have fun! “, Because we had enough unhappy moments in the last year.”
“Party Your Hasselhoff” is a very special tour of worldwide hits, dressed in a modern sound, reinterpreted and exciting by David Hasselhoff. Of course, his cult hits should not be missing either. The tour is designed to bring people back to the dance floors and make the days of the pandemic fade away.
The Hoff's career
The actor, singer and entertainer caught exactly the right moment once before: when he recorded “Looking For Freedom” in 1989 with the German producer Jack White. When the Wall came down, it became the best-selling album of the year ’89, and it stayed in the German charts for 44 weeks.
Hasselhoff sang the title song – hit of the year in Germany and Switzerland – on New Year’s Eve ‘89 at the Berlin Wall in front of over 500,000 people. In history’s rear-view mirror, one often suspected that it was “Knight Rider” Hasselhoff personally who made a significant contribution to the end of the division of Germany and who gave the wall the decisive kick that brought it down. Daily sales of the song reached the mark of 70,000, “Looking For Freedom” topped the German charts for eight weeks and stayed there for half a year. What is often forgotten: His albums “Night Rocker” (1985) and “Lovin ‘Feelings” (1987) already sold quite well in German-speaking countries.
In Germany, Austria and Switzerland, the entertainer was placed a total of 707 times, 194 times in the top 10 and 16 times in # 1. Hasselhoff has been awarded gold and platinum awards worldwide for its numerous music productions. He is in the “Guinness Book of Records” under the heading “Most viewed star in television history” – no wonder, as he has appeared in over 25 TV series.
