Merkur Ice Stadium

Merkur Ice Stadium

Zoisweg 15

A-8041 Graz

ICE, ICE, BABY

The place where men cry and real ladies roar. Everything always runs smoothly at the Merkur Eisstadion. Even when, for once, an event takes place here in which ice does not play a major role.

Puckingham Palace

The ice rink used to be called the “Bunker”, but today many people just call it “Puckingham Palace”. After the renovation in 2016, there is nothing that reminds you of the old days. On the contrary: the dressing rooms, stands and VIP area are brand new. And speaking of the stands… which now makes a 360-degree experience possible. No matter where the fans sit – there are 4,126 when the ice stadium is sold out – the view is perfect from everywhere.

Let's break the ice

Thanks to the lighting system, which can be adjusted in six stages with 1,200 lux, nobody will miss a goal scored by the Moser Medical Graz99ers ice hockey team. Or an ace from, who knows, maybe Dominic Thiem one day. Contrary to its name, the Merkur Eisstadion can also be used for tennis, for example, if required. Or international stars of the figure skating scene can do their pirouettes here.
