IT'S MORE THAN A STADIUM
Anyone who thinks that football is simply played in our stadium is mistaken. It's not called "It's more than a game" for nothing. The Merkur Arena is always a good match. But it's not just about getting the ball into the net. There is also plenty on offer off the pitch.
A place of jubilation
King football usually reigns supreme in the Merkur Arena. Over 15,000 fans in the stands create a real goosebump atmosphere. But the Merkur Arena can be more than just a backdrop for exciting sporting events. The city’s largest stadium is primarily home to SK Sturm Graz and GAK 1902.
With extra class
It is also a venue for seminars, meetings and even galas and corporate events. The elegant VIP area provides the perfect backdrop and the impressive floodlight system (1,200 lux) creates the right atmosphere. Almost like a football match.
