Sometimes you have a brilliant idea, but the spark just won’t ignite. Then you can call on us for help. We don’t just organise, we also create individual concepts for extraordinary events. At the MCG, we are also experts in staging. On stage and off. Because what an event often lacks is the right setting.

If there’s one thing we know, it’s how events work. There is no formula for this, but with the experience and expertise of our employees, it always works wonderfully. From the idea to the recap. And it doesn’t matter whether we’re talking about trade fairs, conferences, concerts, shows or graduation balls, large or small events, and the event space is only of secondary importance. What is important is first-class advice. And that’s what our customers always get.

Bet that … we have the right location for every event? There’s the Stadthalle Graz, Messe Graz including the open-air arena B and open-air grounds, the Messecongress Graz, Congress Graz, the Merkur Arena, the Merkur Ice Stadium and the Weinzödl Sports Campus. The glorious seven of event venues, so to speak. But they are all so versatile that there are actually many more. Almost an infinite number.

Once the plan is in place, we make sure that everything runs according to it. This starts with shopfitting and extends to logistics, security and catering. As event professionals, we are there during set-up, dismantling and everything that happens in between. So that we can intervene in good time if support is needed. And so that our partners, exhibitors and customers can enjoy their event without any worries.

The MCG brings together what belongs together: organisers, companies and visitors. We arrange contacts and also within the different target groups. Because we have been doing this for many years, we now have a very good knack for it and are able to judge which relationships will last. This not only creates new connections, but also regularly leads to successful events such as trade fairs, partner events and congresses.

The sound makes the music. Or the lecture. Or the background sound. That’s why all our venues are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and all kinds of other technical refinements. Depending on whether a loud rock band or a rather quiet speaker is on stage, we adapt the technology on site. This ensures that visitors in both the front and back rows can hear everything clearly.

Safe is safe is safe. Especially at our events, where there are often many thousands of visitors in a single hall, safety is the main issue. What’s more, our security partner and our in-house fire brigade take meticulous care to ensure that everything always complies with all safety regulations. Virtually at any time of day or night. Before, during and after an event. And if, exceptionally, no event is taking place, the professionals are still on site: for fire drills, for example.

Here’s a little foretaste of events at the MCG: whether it’s a hearty snack or an exclusive gourmet dinner, we cater for our guests. Our exclusive caterers have all kinds of dishes and every conceivable drink on the menu – and of course special requests are also taken into consideration. How the food and drink is served depends on the type of event: as a buffet or flying finger food, at a standing reception or directly to the dining tables. Meal time!

From A to B, from B to A or even from K to T via M and back to F. The transport routes that our partners take are not always direct connections – but they still choose the direct route when it comes to logistics. So that everything is always in the right place at the right time and the event can take place as planned. This is how we take events and everything that goes with them out into the world. Or bring them to Graz from anywhere.

Sometimes, it just has to be a red carpet. On other days, a simple wooden floor might be enough. How we style a location depends on the event in question. Basically, anything is possible. Down-to-earth, exclusive, understated or casual. The only important thing is that visitors feel the atmosphere as soon as they enter. And that’s why we might hang a chandelier there on Friday and then quickly fix colourful LED lamps on Saturday.
