tradition
We at the MCG were not born yesterday. Although, in theory, we are. We can look back on a long tradition as a trade fair location. As early as 1883, we hosted Austria’s first trade fair, the “Flower and Industry Festival”. We have been organising the now famous Graz Trade Fairsince 1906 and since the Stadthalle was opened in 2002, the largest multifunctional hall in the whole country, there’s no stopping us in terms of events anyway. We offer a 360° experience at it’s best.

Today, we manage MCG (written out: Messe Congress Graz) seven locations throughout the city: the Congress,theFair Congress,the Stadthalle, the Messe Graz as well as the Merkur Arena,the Merkur Ice Stadiumand the Weinzödl Sports Campus. And wehave transformed ourselvesfrom a simple organiser to a one-stop shop for experiences. What does that mean? We don’t just organise events, we also take care of everything elseand know exactly what makes the difference.

ahead
Exactly why we may be old, but we’re certainly not old-fashioned. Even the events themselves move with the times. Instead of the “flower and industry festival”, there are now a variety of specifictrade fairsthat often last several days. Or music festivals, whichalso take place in our open-air arenain summer,not to mention conventions! And of coursethere’s one thing you shouldn’t forgeteither: Our team knows the latest trendson the event scene as soon as theyappearthere. Sometimes even before that.
